Terrence Wilson

Coach Terrence is originally from Springfield, MA. He’s lived in NY the past 13 years and played soccer since the age of 6. Coach T played for the Top High School in Western Massachusetts (Cathedral High School under coach Joe Pantuosco).

Pantuosco guided Cathedral to 29 postseason appearances. While playing in the toughest league, his Panthers won 400-plus games and qualified for the Western Massachusetts Division I tournament 29 times. Pantuosco’s teams were 12-2 in Division I finals and won three state titles in six appearances. His 1993 team went 23-0 en route to the state championship and finished ranked second in the country.

Coach Terrence also played on travel teams, which granted him the opportunity to play on a US team in Europe (Belgium and Germany) which was an experience of a lifetime. He was injured in high school, preventing him from playing college soccer.  Though devastating for Terrence, he’s always told himself, “If I can’t play in the professional league, I’d like to help others who are just as passionate about soccer as I am try and make it if that is their ultimate goal and if it’s not, that is still ok, I’m here to help any way I can.”

Coach says he enjoys working with Pro Soccer Kids because it reminds him of when he was a child. It excites him to see the joy in a child’s face after they scored a goal or learned how to do something they thought they couldn’t do. Pro Soccer Kids is professional, fun and treats their staff like family.

Terrence is a big fan of exercising, eating healthy and going to the gym. He loves being able to pull kids away from their phones, computers, video games and get them to come out and interact with each other while exercising, learning and having fun at the same time.

Outside of soccer Terrence enjoys working out in the gym, and DJing.  His favorite soccer players is too long to list, but some include Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo.
