Coach Devon W

Coach Devon began teaching and coaching at Poly Prep in the fall of 2013. She is now the head coach of the girls varsity soccer team and teaches physical education. She earned her MD at Manhattanville College and her BA at Iona College. Before joining the faculty at Poly Prep, Coach Devon was a staff member at SUNY Purchase where she was a teacher of physical education and the women’s head soccer and lacrosse coach. She guided the Purchase women’s soccer program to the postseason in 2012 and developed the women’s lacrosse program from the ground up, starting as an intramural team, growing the program into a full varsity sport!

As a youth soccer coach she has spent year coaching for clubs, camps, and travel teams in Westchester County, New York. Coach Devon has played competitively at multiple levels, including Club, Premiere, Select, State, ODP, and Division I in college at Iona College.
